Absolute Comedy Review: April 7, 2011

Brendan McKeigan/Cal Post/Josh Williams/Jason Blanchard

Jason Blanchard, known for his cruise ships shows, was a very energetic host.  He mingled with the aspiring librarian in the front row, explained the difference between incense and incest and covered all the sexual bases.  Over the course of the show he had the entire crowd entertained and happy.

Opening act Josh Williams shared with the group how to find love without having to put pants on, then proceeded to describe his childhood resume and warmed everyone’s heart by talking about his beautiful girlfriend.

Cal Post was on next and besides living in Toronto, he seemed like a very good person.  Everyone learned exactly how hot horse testicles are thanks to Post’s in depth description of them.  His jokes about dusting and mailboxing clearly hit close to home for many of the audience members because he did very well.

Jason Blanchard came back on stage long enough to change everyone’s views on bronchitis, before introducing the headliner Brendan McKeigan. Brendan started his show by expressing his love for hipsters and middle-aged man crotch.  He was on stage alone, but seemed to think that there was a little boy named Mickey on stage with him.  There was a lady asking Brendan to plan her bachelorette party, which he respectfully declined.

Overall a great night and receives a WHAT TO WATCH for this (hopefully) sunny weekend
