Comedy Recap Absolute Comedy March 31, 2011

What started as a fund raiser for crime-stoppers, turned into a good evening of comedy. Host, Brendan McKeigan warmed up the audience with some crowd work and an impression of a lap dance he received on a bus. At first the crowd wasn't responding very well, but became a bit more enamored with his joke about ninja hookers.

Kevin Gaisor arrived on stage as the opening act.  He took many a crack at Thunder Bay and brought to everyone’s attention how ridiculous the rules of baseball are.  Gaisor discovered at a young age what the worst Christmas gift is, because his parent’s got it for him.  His stories about the vision and hearing exams he did at school were a huge hit.

Finally Pierre Brault, a JH5 favorite, appeared on stage with enthusiasm and it rubbed off on the atmosphere of the room.  He had everyone all riled up from the moment he stepped on stage to his grand finale.  His entire set was sprinkled with jokes about Quebec, and why he is no longer allowed in Loblaws.

So if you’d like to hear a story about dong, cocaine at a movie theatre and being politically correct, make reservations at Absolute Comedy this weekend.  It receives a WHAT TO WATCH from the Thursday night audience.
